Festival of Trees
From November 25 to January 3, the landmark winery will mark its sixth year as a host venue for a lush forest of trees sponsored and decorated by local, Kelowna-area businesses, community organizations, and personal groups.
The Festival of Trees is a grassroots campaign held in communities across British Columbia to fundraise for the province’s only children’s hospital.
The festivities at Mission Hill Family Estate kick-off on Friday, November 25, with a special Light Up Celebration. There are a few ways to participate in the important fundraising initiative, as a winery guest, including:
Festival of Trees Light Up Celebration, Nov 25Welcome the holiday season by joining us on Friday, November 25 from 5-8pm, for a festive light-up celebration paired with live music, mulled wine and hot chocolate, and holiday treats prepared by our culinary team. Help us meet our goal of $50,000 in donations to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation throughout November and December. Register here.
Festival of Trees Winery Experience, Nov 26-Jan 3Join our Wine Ambassadors for a cellar tour, followed by a seated tasting of our Terroir and Legacy collection wines paired with small seasonally-inspired bites, surrounded by beautifully decorated trees in our Barrel Cellar and Visitor’s Hall. A percentage of proceeds from each experience will go to BCCHF. Mission Hill Family Estate is also matching all donations made by Wine Club members who visit for their complimentary tasting over fundraising dates.
