The Okanagan Wine Festival’s Summer Festival, August 16, is a can’t miss for those looking to make the most of the warmer weather over the next few weeks. This year’s festival is a B.C. Wine and Food Truck Face-Off, where guests will get to experience local wines paired with food truck small plates, and then vote on their favourite pairing. Still unconvinced?   1. Okanagan wine: It wouldn’t be a wine festival without some great Okanagan wine. This year’s summer festival features 28 different wines from seven local wineries. If you’re a wine aficionado or new to vino this is a great way to test your palate and experience a variety of different flavour profiles, all at one event!
  2. Food Trucks: High-brow bevvy’s meet street food at this one-of-a-kind pairing event. Enjoy delectable bites from seven different Kelowna food trucks, featuring menu’s that highlight dishes inspired by local cuisine and bites native to far-off places.
  3. Local Entertainment: Keeping the party going will be a variety of local performers, from Spanish-inspired guitarists, to jazzy trios, and classic acoustic singer-songwriters!  You’ll want to make sure you bring your dancing shoes along with your appetite for this one!
