Grab your friends and head out to the Westside Wine Trail for a sippin’ good time on June 5th for the 4th Annual Sip into Summer event. Each winery will be showcasing their summer whites, holding complimentary blind wine tasting challenges and guests can enjoy scenic views and live entertainment.
This open house style event is complimentary to attend with the festivities taking place between noon and 5 pm. Spend the afternoon on a self-guided tour discovering our Westside Wine Trail whites, one sip at a time. Linger in the picnic areas or patios where wine by the glass is available to purchase, or discover the flavours of the Okanagan at one of our four winery restaurants. Please note that tasting fees may apply at some locations.
Blind Wine Tasting Challenge
Details:
There is no entry fee to participate and people 19 years of age or older are eligible to participate.
Protocol:
All bottles will be disguised and each winery will pour the wine. This wine may be a library wine a new release or something from the barrel. The ‘challenge’ is to correctly identify the grape varietal, the vineyard location and alcohol level of the wine. Once you have challenged yourself at a winery you will have your Blind Wine Tasting Challenge Passport endorsed by the winery. Passports will be available at each winery location.

Join us at Indigenous World on open week and be the first of your friends to visit our brand new wine shop. After sampling our complimentary summer sipper, take in the beautiful view while tasting our delicious wines paired with appies from the Red Fox Club. Finally, test your palette in our blind taste test that is sure to challenge and surprise everyone.

Live music from Open Door Policy from noon – 5 pm on the grass patio, along with the blind wine tasting challenge and artisan cheese and crackers. Stop by, take in our views, discover our new releases and see our straw bale tasting room.
Quails’ Gate Estate Winery
Blind wine tasting challenge and the sounds of Jeremy Head will entertain guests at Quails’ Gate. Some say that Jeremy’s experience is mainly in folk, while other believe that his roots are in indie and alternative rock. He will be performing from 12 to 4 pm.

Wine and tacos anyone? We just bottled up several delicious new whites that are perfect for any Okanagan Summer day, and they will pair perfectly with the delicious tacos that will be freshly made throughout the day from the YLW Food Truck. You won’t want to miss our complimentary wine tastings at Rollingdale to welcome the Summer season. Join in on the blind tastings and make sure you try our featured wine of the event, our Gewürztraminer.
