BC's Agricultural Fairs & Their Impact in BC Communities!

BC Fairs has completed an extensive province wide study which focused on the economic impact and community benefits that are delivered by BC's fairs, exhibitions and festivals, through events and other progamming.  Fairs contribute significant measurable and positive benefits for their communities and stakeholders.  They reinforce tradition and provide an annual forum and celebration for urban and rural populations, the business community and agricultural sector to come together.

Attendance at agricultural fairs by local residents and non-residents amounts to 1.16 million - a number equivalent to 26.0% of BC’s population count.  The message is clear - BC's Fair Associations directly produce economic benefits for BC communities!
