Nestled in the woods on a quiet country road in southeast Kelowna, you’ll find a little farm unlike any other. As you wander through Caldwell Heritage Farm you’ll discover rambling gardens, rustic stone pathways and rich green pastures abounding with unexpected treasures.
Never planning on being farmers, Kristi and James were self-described urbanites. When Kristi’s parents both passed away unexpectedly, Kristi and James inherited the farmland paradise her parents had created. They packed up their their life in Vancouver and moved home to the farm excited and overwhelmed but determined to keep this lovingly created acreage in the family and to provide a lifestyle for their young daughters that was healthy, sustainable and unique.
Caldwell Heritage Farm features ‘The Ladies’, beautiful free-range chickens who provide farm fresh eggs for the family and visitors, seasonal ‘you-pick’ vegetables and flowers and the opportunity to step back in time with their impressive collection of vintage farm equipment, industrial tools, trucks and antiques. Visitors to the farm will get a sneak peek at their latest project with their ‘under construction’ small batch craft farm distillery. With grains grown within a stone’s throw of the distillery, a true ‘farm to bottle’ product will be available in late 2017.
